Starbucks announced on November 4, 2026 that it has released Holiday Blend, its first global holiday album in over a decade. The seven-track album features Magnus Ferrell, Coco Jones, JYT, TRÍADA, Brandi Carlile, The Womack Sisters, and Leon Thomas, and is available globally on digital streaming platforms via Interscope Records and Universal Music Group — listen on Spotify or Apple Music.

Why it matters

Holiday Blend extends the brand's long-running in-store holiday music tradition from playlists and CD compilations into a full, globally released album. The company said it will play in select Starbucks coffeehouses worldwide throughout the holiday season, which begins on November 5. For listeners it pairs established and rising artists with holiday classics and one original song, and for the industry it is a notable example of a retail brand commissioning a label-distributed release.

The album

The track list includes:

  1. "Happy Holiday / The Holiday Season" — Magnus Ferrell
  2. "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" — Coco Jones
  3. "This Christmas" — JYT
  4. "Llegó La Navidad" — TRÍADA
  5. "River" — Brandi Carlile
  6. "What Christmas Means to Me" — The Womack Sisters
  7. "Soulful Christmas" — Leon Thomas

The collection pairs an original holiday song from JYT with fresh interpretations of seasonal favorites, spanning pop, soul, and Americana. The release also includes a $500,000 donation from the Holiday Blend campaign to World Central Kitchen to support humanitarian relief efforts.

Erin Silvoy, senior vice president of global marketing and channel development at Starbucks, said the company is building on its music legacy "in a way that feels fresh for today," and that her hope is that the album "becomes part of the soundtrack to the season."

Background

Music has been part of the Starbucks coffeehouse experience since its early years, in the form of curated playlists, CD compilations, digital downloads, and artist partnerships. The company describes Holiday Blend as a new chapter in that story: its first global holiday album in over a decade, arriving alongside returning seasonal items such as the Peppermint Mocha and Gingerbread Chai.
