Nissan has opened orders for the all-electric Pixo, its small electric city car designed for European urban driving. The compact EV starts at €19,990 (gross, including 19% VAT) in Germany, and the company says the first vehicles will be delivered in early 2027.
Entry-level specification
The Pixo is powered by a 60 kW (82 PS) electric motor and a 27.5 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. It has a combined WLTP range of up to 259 km. Every trim includes a DC fast charger (up to 50 kW, taking the battery from 15% to 80% in 28 minutes) and an 11 kW on-board charger for home and workplace charging.
The entry Engage grade, from €19,990, includes a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, climate control, LED headlights, and driver assistance covering autonomous emergency braking, lane-keep assist and traffic-sign recognition. The mid Advance grade starts at €21,290.
Built for the city
The car is about 3.80 metres long, seats up to four adults, and has a boot of up to 356 litres. Rear seats slide independently on higher trims. Google built-in services provide navigation and route planning, and an in-car Gemini AI assistant is included. The exterior palette offers four colours — Midnight Purple, Authentic Blue, Elegant Silver and Pure White — and the model was designed at Nissan's design centre in London.
